Dear Santa Movie
In Decemeber 2020 IFC films released a documentary called Dear Santa. Operation Santa is a program via the USPS that is over 100 years old. Every year this program recruits local elves around America to help Santa fulfill letters for those most in need. In this clip from the documentary, Michael Munoz speaks about adopting a letter from a boy who is identifying as gay. This clip is posted with permission from IFC. Operation Santa
This 107 year old program, run by the USPS, is very near and dear to my heart. In 2017 I chartered the USPS to extend this program to the children of Puerto Rico & the U.S. Virgin Islands as they were still recovering from the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. For the first time ever the USPS dubbed me Chief Community Elf, now Elf Emeritus, for my initiative to help those most in need! Take a look.
